An AM link is a shortcut that loads an Alight Motion preset straight into the app. Instead of downloading files and importing them by hand, you tap a link and the preset appears in your project. Here is how they work and when to use one.
An AM link is a web address that Alight Motion understands. When you open it, the app reads the preset data behind the link and builds the layers, effects and keyframes for you.
Because the preset is rebuilt inside the app, AM links are tiny compared to XML files and always pull the newest version of the preset.
The most reliable way is to open the link from inside Alight Motion itself.
Both formats deliver the same preset; they differ in how they are carried. AM links need a connection and the app installed, while XML files work offline but are larger and must be imported manually.
If a link is down or you want an offline copy, fall back to the XML file on the same preset page.
An AM link only contains preset data — it does not install anything or change your device. Treat links from unknown sources with the same caution you would any download, and prefer reputable preset libraries.
